How have you become so knowledgeable about politics? I think I heard you say once that you are/were(?) Canadian, does the Canadian education system focus on American civics as opposed to Canadian civics? Your information is invaluable! Thank you Leigh!

Economic inequality

Wages and inequality moved in opposite directions beginning somewhere around 1979. Productivity went up and wages stagnated or went down. How do economists measure productivity of workers to determine its movements up or down? Is it gross production in the economy measured by sale of products per worker??? I am following Robert Reich last class this year at UC Berkley discusses this.
