Would you do a show on ALEC? This little-known group has done so much to get unpopular legislation passed in States (and municipalities) - such as Stand Your Ground, etc., and has been operating in the shadows since the late 70's when the formed (as a revolt against establishment of the EPA and OSHA).

I have been following politics since 2017. I post videos & podcasts on my Twitter & Facebook feeds to inform people of what's really going on. I even started a group on Facebook - Real Politics, Real Facts - to reach more people. I've even called myself a political commentator because I have retained so much political knowledge that I can repeat it in my sleep. I had all the pieces, but it was You who put them all together for me in one of your Podcasts "BIGGEST far Right Threats get EXPOSED in MUST-SEE Takedown. I would like to spread your message further, at least try, because it is so very important & I don't think people get it, really. I talk to a lot of people. If it's okay with you I would like to try & see if I can get an article for now in the opinion section. I've only written one opinion article in my life, but this is more important than ever because as you said, I don't think Americans really know what's going on & they cheer for what they believe they feel is right at the moment not looking at the whole picture. Once that picture gets out there, I believe people will start questioning what they truly believe in & what they don't. I wouldn't change a darn word you said & if I had to I would talk to you first. Everything will be sourced back to you. I'm just the messenger to a bigger story.

Yes, I too wish I could give more & am also on SSI, but I have a college - AA degree - in Accounting & have completed a lot of research & Writing during my time at Strayer University. I attended 3 different Colleges, Olympic College, South Puget Sound Community College & Strayer University. It took me many times to get my degree but of course, life kept happening. I gained a lot though because every time I restarted, I had to keep taking Math, English, Writing Classes, Research Work, & Speech over & over again. After I earned my AA, I continued for a year longer than became disabled. I hope that I can help to spread your message to others so they can make better choices. Our maintenance guy & a tenant told me they don't believe anything in Politics. THAT WAS A SAD DAY FOR ME, BUT I'M NOT GIVING UP. I see what these idiot Republicans are doing & it's time that the rest of us have that knowledge as well. My email is teresa.r.bradon@gmail.com. Seeking to promote a gun violence solution
I'm seeking to promote discussion of an idea to curb gun violence by giving people an incentive to take limited but permanent responsibility for the use of firearms they sell or give to others. My idea avoids some issues that paralyze attempts to reduce gun violence and promotes citizen engagement in monitoring the flow of guns. Can you spread the word if you think this is worthwhile? Economic inequality
Wages and inequality moved in opposite directions beginning somewhere around 1979. Productivity went up and wages stagnated or went down. How do economists measure productivity of workers to determine its movements up or down? Is it gross production in the economy measured by sale of products per worker??? I am following Robert Reich last class this year at UC Berkley discusses this.

What if ... Joe has an issue mid 2024 that prohibits him from pursuing
i know we shouldn't have any other candidate besides Joe, but what if hypothetically he has a serious issue in say June on through EOY2024, not that i would want to vote Republican BUT ....My basic question is what do you think of Will Hurd? , because the rest of the GOP field is Useless (obviously) thanks Leigh ----Laura R.

Hi Leigh, Glad you are doing what you do. You bring real insight and the people who know to the table… Much appreciated and I learn something new every week..! As I say, I reserve the right to get smarter, and you help that along the way. BTW, I am also a Canadian from New Brunswick. Now living on an island north of Seattle. I had an idea several months ago and figured if I came up with the idea, someone smarter would have already thought of it. But I have also learned in my field that that is more often not the case. So here is the idea / question… If we (meaning if I have heard you and your guests correctly) say there are two key factors to turning things around or getting back on the right track, are; Get every eligible voter out to vote. Regardless of affiliation. Putting money in the hands of the lower 95% will do more to stimulate the economy than putting the same amount in the hands of the top 5%. So, would it be possible for the executive branch to authorize a $1,000 tax rebate for every vote cast..? Or at a minimum, put it on the table so the House says “no way” and you have them on record. If possible, most would see this has a refund that they would get in early 2025, and my guess is it would help those individual families as well as the economy. My guess..(?) So, the math… Say there is 230 million eligible voters and 200 million vote, hence getting a tax credit. And significantly getting the vote percentage up. That is a $200 billion assist to citizens and a boost to the economy, bottom up not top down. If this got put in place to happen for Federal elections every 2 years, I think you would have a win / win… I know your circle has way more knowledge and influence than my circle, so thought I would place it in your circle.
