Billionaires for Government Positions

In an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen, Bernie Sanders (I-VT) indicated a disaster for working people. should a Republican slate of millionaire (very wealthy people) out-of-state candidates running for the Senate get elected. He also states that we are living in a very corrupt political system. Billionaires can buy the election themselves. It certainly seems like it's true from my view. How do we address this situation so that people in Office, actually represent the people who voted them in?

Official Language ?

The Us is 1 of 3 countries out of the 195 countries in the world (I believe) that does not have an official language. By having an official language and nudging immigrants to use this language, public communication and hopefully public safety can be enhanced. Since English is the most predominant language in use (worldwide) today, we should adopt English as our "Official" language.

Firearm Reform Issue

2nd Amendment, Right to Bear Arms. A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free state, etc... A Militia is a body of citizens enrolled for military service serving only in emergencies, this is NOT the general public at large. Shouldn't there be an upgrade to this Amendment where automatic weapons are only allow in the actual Military or Police services? Avid hunters do not use automatic weapons taking down game. 10 states are trying to ban "Assault-Style Weapons". Let make if Federal so that hopefully we can minimize all the mass shooting recently.

Alabama IVF Issue

Since the gov't body of Alabama is allowing indictments for murder of IVF, shouldn't the Alabamians be allowed to consider them as a dependent on their tax returns? State return definitely, Fed return possibly. Bigger question, why is Gov't getting directly involved in the medical arena? Leave it to the medical community to decide those issues.

Rep.s & Sen.s forget who they are working for ???

Why, when Rep.s & Sen.s, when they get to "the house" forget they are working for the people of their state versus working for themselves (to get reelected) and / or their political party, etc. Once there, the "party" concept should go out the window. There should be one cohesive group of people trying to get things accomplished!
